THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH!! 

Sincerely, thank you! It was quite nerve wracking to watch this campaign on the back end. We hit our funding goal only like a day and a half before the end of the campaign. Then there was some dropped pledges and some pledges that got lowered, which put on the tension of "will it fund??" in a fierce way in the last 12 or so hours...

But thanks to all of you, this is my 3rd successful campaign. 3 outta 3!! 

Important Info:

1. We hit 50 backers to unlock the Postcard reward!! I will be designing this next week and will have an update with the postcard design when I am done.

2. We were only $40 short of hitting our first stretch goal where I promised to release the "alpha playtest" rules of two separate ttrpgs I have been working on. Since we got so close, I will also be releasing those as well. No art or any fancy formatting yet, these are just google docs with text telling you how to play the game. I appreciate ALL feedback to fine tune these. I plan on launching a ttrpg focused campaign in February for the TTRPG Zine month here on KS, so I want to get the play test materials to you ASAP so i can tweak it for the KS campaign next year.

Note: I still have some tweaking to do on these and will make sure to give the rules my proper attention. These will come out when ready, and you can always email me ([email protected]) or Join My Discord Server to ask for updates on these if you are interested. When these projects are ready (hopefully in a few weeks) I will post an update here about them. 

3. Reminder from last post. I will be sending everyone a private message here on Kickstarter asking how you would like to be credited in the book. These will be sent on Monday Aug 8th, and if I dont have a response by the following Monday, I will just use the names KS shows me. Again, this is to speed up the process of getting the books to the printer. The rest of the KS survey will be sent out via Backerkit in a few weeks, with an update here to let you know when to expect that.

Important Info:

I will be using backerkit again for running the surveys after the campaign is done... BUT I want to be able to order the comics ASAP.  So I will be sending out a message to each person individually at the end of the campaign to get your name preference for the KS Acknowledgments. Expect that message on Monday at the latest. Basically, Getting the surveys back is what slows down the printing of the comics, but only 1 question on the survey (what name would you like printed in the credits?) is useful for this comic, everything else is generally getting ideas for future campaigns. So in an effort to make things faster I figured a quick message will get us up and running quicker than last campaign!

Other than that, have a great weekend! I will put out another update once the campaign is officially closed and I'll repeat some of this info there too, but I really wanted to celebrate hitting our goal today!!

Howdy Folks!

I am working on Milestone rewards, as you know my drawing tablet died recently, but I was able to get a replacement, so now that I am back in business, I am getting the Milestone and stretch goal reward images made up and i hope to have the Milestones up in the next few days. Last campaign I did milestones based on % raised, but this time I think i am going to do it based on the number of backers and see how that goes :) (still testing things out as this is only my 3rd campaign)

Drop a comment on what you might like to see as mile stone rewards! Right now I am thinking about extra pin designs, prints, doing an AMA stream, and possibly doing a podcast with Coleton Mastick if he is interested in being interviewed.

For Stretch goals, I am looking at bigger things like releasing the playtest rules of the tabletop roleplaying game that I have been developing, an western themed adventure for that system, and more short stories to be added to the comic by myself and maybe even Mick Beyers who we didnt get in on the last campaign. 

I also wanted to shout out a friends campaign. If you like my stuff, especially the noir side of my work, then you really need to check out Mandrill PI 

This campaign has less than 2 days to go, and only needs 3 more backers to unlock the last milestone goal! if you have the extra funds, I highly reccommend heading over and supporting this project!

For fans of sci fi adventures! I would also like to shout out the 13th labor as well!! Just check out this cover! There's previews of the interior art as well, and its just as awesome! 

Definitely worth checking out if you are interested in intergalactic gladiator style events! its a really rad concept with all 3 issues available in this campaign!

Let's go!! 50%!!  WOO HOO!

Thank you all for getting us this far, this fast! its really awesome to see the love early on in the campaign!

In the last update I mentioned that my Huion drawing monitor died and that I was gonna have to move some money around to get it replaced... well to much my surprise, when I mentioned it to my father, he offered to help me out! So now I have a replacement drawing tablet!

To break it in, I did a quick 20min sketch of a cowboy Batman! Batman is always the first thing I draw when i get a new piece of tech or peripheral... he's like my base line "can i draw with this" test. lol.
